Default FX3 shock codes
Can anyone tell me what the Codes mean on the fx3 shocks? My 92 fronts have a white sticker with 7C printed on them. I've seen pics with other codes like XL and others. I know 89-91 fx3 shocks are different than 92-95. If I'm getting replacements, do these codes matter?

You can get them from several of the large on line vendors such as mid america motor works or directly from Bilstein.

You can also find them on eBay and other places used. I would still like to know what, if any, significance is regarding the two character label codes on the shocks themselves...
