Turn signal switch replacement 86 vette
Can anyone give me some tips on replacing the turn signal switch on my 86? Im a mech by trade but friends all say its a mess on a vette, getting it out I can simply cut the plug at the bottom and pull it out but they say the problem is fishing the new plug into the colum tube Any ideas would be appreciated or horror stories on what not to do, Thanks guys

Besides the two slot puller & lock ring compressor tool.
Remove the 2 bolts to the steering column.. to allow fishing wires very easy
the bad news is you need a lil kid to fit under the dash
Remove your driver seat.. this will give you the room you need.
