Iam looking for a tach filter for my 90 . The dealer says they are not available anymore. A few months ago someone posted a p/n for a compatable filter from napa autoparts. I have searched but cannot find that post. Can anyone help with this.
Thanks
I spoke to Gordon Killebrew last week about this. He said get a tach filter from an LT1 car. The connectors are different, so you'll need to rig it up. If you don't know who Gordon is... well, he wrote the Factory Service manual for you car!!!! He knows a few things about C4's.
I've been able to find these on ebay. Usually from I guy named redneck93 I belive. I had the same problem finding the tach filter. But if you can get an LT1 you just have to splice the L98 connectors.
And the other option is to install and MSD and ditch the tach filter. Run the tach signal wire straight out of the MSD's "tach out" to where you would cut the tach filter off the wire. Worked on my 90.

It is redneck43 (Steve Morgan), and he has 1 on ebay right now!
