I'm not a pro at this, but if your running 60ft times in the 1.7's, you need more power in the top in which is the opposite of smaller gears. My LT4 on the other hand runs 2.0-2.2's 60 ft times but my top end is stronger than hell. You might want to look in the air flow catagory (intake/exhaust). Just my worthless 2 cents.

Yeah i was thinkin that too but i was pullin 1.9-2.0 60fts till i put in the 3500 stall then i was flyin out of the whole and fallin on my face at the top end like i said with my friend he put in his 3.73 and gained 3 tenths and gained around 4-5 mph thats in a 93 trans am i dont see why it would be any different with a corvette? with a 3.73 then ill be coming out of the hole even stronger and ill be going through the gears quicker and ill be goin through the traps faster right?

TPI is really going to hamper you at the top end. If you put in deeper gears, like a 3.73 from your 2.59 or 3.08, you are going to get to the top quicker BUT you might not have any power there at all.

Are you using a 3500 stall with a stock cam?

Are all your mods listed in your sig?

What are the street manners like with the 3500 stall  -Matt-

i know that my cam isnt stock but its not that much bigger its pretty small i dont know that numbers right now though. On the street my cars pretty good its actually not as bad as i thought it would be with that big stall in it its nice before the stall my car has always ran pretty hard top end wise everyone has said that the L98 arent strong in the top end but i dont get it mine was strong before the stall i think my converter is slipping at the topend too that is why i have such low mph before my stall i went 13.81 @100mph oh yeah and i read on here that the L98 only revs to 4500 Rpm but i take mine to 5500 when i shift into 2nd and it is perfect i dont get it but yeah the stalls good and my cars is definitly strong in the top end so i think i should go with the gear right? Oh yeah all the mods i can think of right now are posted i think im forgetting one or 2 though i dont know
