Default Car cut out - help needed !!!

Hi,

I have an 89 vette with 146k on the clock, the car was running great, then cut out for no reason and wouldn't restart, the engine was hot 208 DegF, when you tried to start it it would catch for a second then die, checked fuel no problems, checked for spark, short or no spark then nothing, car turns over great.

Had to have the car flatbedded home, by the time I got the car home, the engine was a lot cooler, tried to start it an it started, very rough then died within about 20 seconds, tried again in the morning about 14 hours later, car fully cold, car started and ran great, I am thinking it may be the ignition module, and I have ordered one anyway.

The car has a relatively new distributor cap, coil and rotor arm from Performance Distributors.

Your thoughts on possible causes would be greatly appreciated.

Default Problem solved

The coil earth was loose also the white primary wire was fractured.

New parts ordered from Corvette Central, car will be running again soon.
