Well this car is like a box of chocolates... Just found that the heater core has been bypassed, then found this tucked up out of sight...

Has a black/white wire and an off grey or beige wire...

Oh yeah, 92 6spd.

manifold air temp under the plenum.
there is a secondary harness that plugs into that and is about 10 inches long and goes to the manifold air temp sensor

Where is the MAT sensor on an LT1? I know where it is on TPI cars...

well since you did not tell us what year your car is, I used the TPI, but yours should be out in front of the throttle body.

Last line first post... 92 6spd. I think I found it in the FSM, looks like the low coolant sensor. FSM p.6D5-3 shows it not connected in the diagram so maybe it's supposed to be disconnected? Shows as disconnected in diagram from LT5 also...

I found the low coolant sensor connector in my 94 LT1 just dangling down near the firewall a while back, after I removed the coolant tank to do some cleaning. The pins in the tank connector had corroded and one of them broke of in the wiring harness connector. Not sure how long it had been like that, or if I broke it of when I removed the tank (because I didn't realize there was a connector under there).
