OK, I'm swapping the left side plugs on my 92 LT1.
I removed the ASR or whatever it is and under that is a black valve of some type that has 2 large hoses that appear to be for air. It had a tiny hard plastic vacuum line sticking up from the front that loops over to the intake. On the rear, pointing straight toward the driver is another nipple that was naked.
I have searched everywhere for a loose vacuum line but I can't find one. Is there supposed to be a line plugged onto that rear facing nipple?

I'm almost ready to put it back together.
There is no hose connected to that nipple, it bleeds vacuum to atmosphere.
