Does anybody know how much there is R12 in 1985 Corvettes A/C?
2,25 ibs?

A 1986 coupe takes exactly one can of compressor oil and 2 cans of 134 if that helps. :cheers:

I just had my R12 recharged Friday (with FR12) and they charged me for a pound and a half and said I had almost a pound in it already. I think the two and a quarter pounds you mentioned is pretty close.

2.25 to 2.6 pounds and don't forget the oil. If you use one of those cans that has the oil already in the freon, deduct for that.I am not sure what method you are using. But make sure that you draw the proper vacuum before charging if you are working with an empty system.
