Opti Replacement
1996 LT1 175,000: Have to do a new crankshaft so I'm doing the timing chain and Opti at the same time. When the timing gears/chain are at 0 TDC do I just align the slots in the Opti and camshaft? or could the Opti be 180 degs off and there's some trick to make sure it's not?

I found the answer elsewhere in this very good forum. Just make sure the splines are aligned correctly and no effort is required to get it to seat. But if anyone has different experience I'm listening.
