Eelbrock Throttle Body Help
I just installed an Edelbrock 52MM throttle body and Air Gap Intake on my LT1. The car was running fine before the install. I just wanted a little more perfomance out of it. After the install it revs immediately to 4k RPM and stays there. I changed nothing but the intake and throttle body. The car has shorty headers, high flow cats, and a corsa exhaust. Any ideas what could be causing the high idle? Thanks for any and all suggestions.

1. 52mm TB will not provide any gains to your set up.
2. It is obvious your TB's butterflies are open, and obviously you did not reset the TV cable.
3. You have to re-adjust your accelerator's cable.

Yes the butterflies were still open. Thank you. I adjusted the cable to correct it. Thank you again. Now the car won't stay running at all. It starts and dies immediately. If I disconnect the MAF it will stay running but at 3k RPMs(only did that to see what difference it would make). Is there something electronically or sensor wise that needs to be reset or tuned? Again, any help would be apprciated(besides putting the old throttle body back on and returning the new one).
