Hello again ladies and gents of the forum. I have a tad bit of a problem with my digital dash. To start...got the car with a completely broken dash, sent it too a really good guy, and he gave me a complete different one that works and perfectly rebuilt. Heres the problem, the dash is basically new...and yet still does not work on occasion. I just got my car back from a shop and they gave the car a complete tune for the 383 and made it right, and the weird thing is,, for a whole week the dash worked. Then yesterday cruising around 35 mph..it went out. Didnt even hit a bump. The dash had never been on so long. Im wondering if my battery is bad and not keeping pace with the car, because my alternator is running everything else perfectly...OR its a bad ground. If its a ground, i need to know precisely where it is, any advice is much appreciated. The dash will work and not over and over again, would like to make it right. Any help is needed. THANKS Y'ALL

If the '87 is the same circuit layout as my '84, the ground is at G101 (via circuit#150) and is located under the right hand side of the dash. Is it just the backlights going off or do the gauges stop working also?
