Well it seems this has turned into a conversation of which is quicker, and that is different from which is faster. That being said, how about some numbers being quoted on the stock cars?
Ill start, I have a friend who had a 94 automatic coupe, 3.07 gear, goodyear gatorbacks, totally stock. At MIR I ran a 13.27 at 105.xx mph. With his car. On the same day, I ran a 13.17 at 105.xx mph on mine and its a vert. But it did have a set of 3.54 gears in it at that time. Latter, with a 3000 stall converter I ran a 12.91. All of this on Mitch. pilot sport tires.
I wonder why an OP with both transmissions starts a thread like this one. I have both, the auto feels faster on take off, but The Ghost will blow Betty Boop without a doubt.
I'm willing to bet The Ghost would beat Betty Boop by two cars or more in the 1/4 mile.
FYI: The Ghost is not stock, the only part that is stock is the ZF.

I dunno...I tried comparing a '94 LT1 auto with a '96 LT4...we all know who wins THAT argument....
