Line Lock Troubles
Well..I went to put on my Biondo Racing Line Lock that I got from Summit yesterday...and I get it completely on and everything, then press the brakes, and brake fluid comes shooting out around the factory brake line fitting(that used to be connected to the master cylinder) so I tighten it...still squirts. I eventually ended up stripping out the dang nut and also cutting the brake line and reflaring it (crappy flare I might add) then finally give up and pull it off the line lock and put it into the master cylinder and tighten it down like a DOG! Then FINALLY it stops squirting brake fluid out. DOH! All I needed to do was tighten it up more! SO, now I'm stuck with no line lock and brakes that need to be bled. (Although there's still quite alot of pressure in the brakes, and I really can't notice a difference from before I open the lines) :confused: Ohh well...I guess the Line Lock will just have to wait. :(
