Power Window ribbon 87
Does anyone know if you can change the ribbon on a 87 drivers door with out removing the regulator? I have read that on 87 is not supposted to have the ribbon, but maybe the door has been changed before I bought the car? Also can you just purchase the ribbon and where. Thanks Guys.

If you do have the ribbon type...
Then you will have to remove the regulator to change the ribbon. If you need a ribbon, they have them at O'reilly's or Autozone. They should be on the rack with the HELP stuff. It takes the one that says it is for Chrysler cars. It costs about 16 bucks. You will also need a drill and a pop rivet gun.
