So had a bit of bad luck today, removing fuel filter I twisted my fuel line feed side and ultimately broke the end off.
Do I have any options for patching the connection or does the line have to be completely replaced?
The engine side of the filter connection is fine, I just lost the end of the feed side so roughly about 1 inch of tube plus the threaded bolt. I greatly appreciate suggestions on easy fixes....

You can buy a used one from salvage yards such as www.vette2vette.com or you could go to a store such as NAPA where they could make you a new line. You would have to remove the broken line and bring it in so they could obtain the correct length. Then you could purchase a small tubing bender in order to make matching bends.
Good luck!
no reason not to replace with rubber fuel line and clamps, or a compression coupler. you probably have rubber on each ends of the fuel system, tank for sure.
if you have enough tubing at nut end, the compression coupler is available at hardware stores.
yep...either way you have to remove the damaged section to get it on the work table or get it matched up for replacement.
Its a simple matter to fix...but it will cost more than just replacing if you DIY...you have to get a tubing cutter, flaring tool, then the correct fittings. Just have the shop do it.
Joes right, rubber is an option but for that area...I dunno. steel is more durable and less likely to get punctured when hit by angry floor jacks or road debris.
Next time, USE a back-up wrench....short cuts usually lead to the long way around.
Remember if yu use rubber for a temporary repair, it has to be high pressure fuel injection hose.
If you don't, the regular fuel line hose has a burst pressure of 25 PSI. you need a burst pressure of 75.
