valve job = $50 per head
if you need new valves = about $5 each or $40 per head

My 3 angle was $150, and this was in Oklahoma.
If you're getting new valves, don't get stock replacements. Get lighter weight composition ones. They will let you spin up faster.

Add my 1990 to the cylinder number 7 leakin antifreeze, due to blown head gasket at 108k miles. I had some estimates of a cracked block or heads, but when it was torn down it was just a head gasket. I replaced the engine with fresh metal anyway. Now I have a matching numbers play thing in the garage on an engine stand.
