Default Tire and Wheel size ?

Will a 315/35 work on a stock 9.5" rim? This is an autocross setup only and I found a good deal on some hoosiers

thanks for any input

i've seen them on 9.5's and they buldge out quite a bit... for autocrossing.. i wouldn't recommend this as the rim is going to roll on the tire.

I bought my car that way, 315's on 9.5 rims. I''ve been driving on them for 2 years now, it's just starting to get thin in the middle after 24,000 miles.

mine point exactly... that tire is buldging out on a 9.5 rim.... I know the serious autocrossers don't like a 285 on a 9.5 inch rim because it rolls a little... 315 is just too tight.

Not well. They pucker and the sidewalls are at angles they aren't supposed to be at making your handling suffer. For a 9.5 rim 275 is the ideal size. For 315s you want an 11" and 335 a 12" rim.

I agree, 285's on a 9.5 are too wide.
