tps trouble code 21..........
Hi guys.........I hang in the c-3 section. But I think I stumped them on my california 81 ccc problem. I know Im stumped. I have a smog check coming, and the code comes up 21 only when I put it in drive. Like 600 rpm and less. So I replace the sensor, clear the code, and start it . And again..........only when I put it in gear, does it throw a code. Mustn't happen at the smog station. I noticed on the wire diagram that the tps shares the ground with the 2 prong temp sender black wire. traced to the tps on the car and it is connected. What else to do? New computer time? ..................good luck .........
