Except for the fact the 92 C4 is a much better looking car! I actually like the styling of my 92 much more than my 03 Z06. And it is more comfortable on trips. Getting in/out is a different story though.

I agree, its not worth the effort to put the LS in a C4 if you want everything to work. If its a street racer might be different.

I know, but the late C4's are such pretty cars, and the LSx engines are such great motors.

Not sure why it would cost 20k to do an LSx swap even if I had to buy the engine and what not, but if I opted to run the 95' engine someone mentioned I'd have to repin the opti other than that would I run into other probs so as reprogramming or anything?

Buy used components, do your own work & have lax smog rules it can be done economically.

Buy new, hire a shop to do it for you & try to pass CA smog...well...let's just say it doesn't make financial sense.
