Default Bulb question

Where can you find replacement bulbs for the fuel info, eng met, gauges and trip odo buttons on the dash. My car is a 96 and the last time I had the buttons out I could not find bulbs for them. They are TINY.
Thanks for any help.

First you look up the bulb numbers in the FSM (you DO have one, right?). Then you Google those numbers and you will find hundreds of sources.

Since my dash is completely different from yours, I can't be of more help...

Did you pull the complete DIC from the car or just remove a button or two? If you remove the DIC from the car, un-plug the button module and remove these two screws you'll have access to the back-side and on an early model there's two bulbs I believe that provide back-lite. Just attempting to see if you've been this far first!

If you've been this far and there's 2 do you recall the color of the socket? Gray or tan?

Tan/brown: GM# 10159597
Gray: GM# 10159559

Yes I have had them all the way out. I think the socket color was gray. Thank you very much for the help.

Early models are one of each and I would have thought that it would have continued forward. The brown is very easy to come by the gray not so easy. Which buttons seem to be out? I'm going to research the gray a little further!

The FSM shows 2 bulbs for the DIC. 40 amp GRY part #10159559 and 80 amp BRN part #10159597. My top four buttons are not lit I hope this is the 80 amp bulb as I have found places to buy them but not the 40 amp.
Thanks for everyones help.
This fourm is the best.
