Flywheels in Auto 'Vettes?

My auto has a flywheel, yes? Between the torque converter and the engine block, right? The starter engages the flywheel to turn the engine over?
Okay...um...does meddling about with the flywheel help any, like it appears to do in all of the manual/clutch/flywheel threads?
Just wondering...only stupid question is the one you don't ask, right?

Only meddling I can think of is to see if it is cracked...
...But you could replace the torque converter with a higher-stall unit to improve launches...Higher revs mean quicker takeoffs...
Time consuming but fairly easy to do...

as Rich said, a new torque converter will allow the car to accelerate faster...
now... I am trying to remember exactly how to explain the torque converter... here goes nothing... ok... it is a pump and it kinda acts like a clutch...
I am sure there are others who can explain it better, and with much greater detail.

I already know how a converter works - Design theory, stator and rotor, viscous coupling, and so forth. I just don't have any practical experience.
So, there's no such thing as a titanium flexplate, or single-mass flexplate, or racing flexplate? Wouldn't help any if there was?
If all goes to plan, I will make the final payoff on my car at the end of this month. Then I will have an extra few hundred bucks a month to begin...the TRANSFORMATION! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA! <cough>
