I have a compaq presario windows 98 computer (windows 98 4.10.1998) that in the past I have used for data logging. I cannot find a flashdrive that is compatible with windows 98. The unit only has a cd player and a floppy drive. Any idea how I can transfer these files to my home computer?
Thanks for your help.
You can download datamaster from the TTS site and call them for a new registration code. The actual program will not transfer from one computer to another. To transfer the datalogs, you can email to yourself or maybe burn to a DVD.
Actually I am trying to use my existing laptop (windows 98) to log with and not have to upgrade. But I think I have a solution, I have a friend who is going to loan me a floppy drive to usb adapter. Then I can burn the datamaster file to a floppy and then send it to my tuner via e-mail from my home computer. But thanks for the advise

You are aware that unregistered DM is not restricted in playback of datalogs; only limited in # of recordings it will do for free?
You can install a fresh version ( downloaded ) version of DM on your computer and only need to transfer the saved logs from your laptop so you can playback
I use Daicom for logging but playback the files in free DM because of the better interface
Hey Vetteoz, thanks for the advice. I have looked at it on my home computer as you said. I have started with a start up tune from my tuner, but wanted to send him the file so he could work with it. The floppy to usb adapter works well for what I want. Again, thanks for your help.
