Ok well the Purple plug does have the slot it was just full of gunk. My bad. I cleaned it all out. They are identical plugs and one is right and the other one is possibly the Crank Pos Sensor Plug.

If you have difficulties getting the CPS connected I believe it only does misfires and PCM4less can maybe program it out. I understand the car will run fine disconnected but you'll have CEL and of course faults.

The crank sensor wires I believe are a.pink, b.pink/black and c.yellow.

MAF wires are a.yellow, b.black/white, c.pink

Yes the connectors are identical.

Thanks. I appreciate it. I'm gonna get under the hood this weekend and fix it up.

I appreciate all the help. I'm just still not quite sure what the general consensus was on which plug is in fact MAF and which one is CPS. Neither wires really math one or the other that well. Just dont wanna mess it up.

The cavities of the connector are ID'd by A - B - C and you'll be able to find them on the plastic connector.

The MAF is populated as I mentioned earlier:

A. Yellow

B. Black/white

C. Pink

The CPS is populated as I mentioned earlier:

A. Pink

B. Pink/black

C. Yellow

With the latch on top an end view would give you:

A - left

B - center

C - right

Here's the MAF:

Here's the CPS:
