Default ZZ4

my friend has an 84 and was wondering how the ZZ4 would fit... and what mods / new pieces he would have to get???

If he goes EFI, new distributor, intake manifold. The balancer CAN fit, if the crossmember is beat down, trust me. but if you want your cross member, that no one can ever see, to stay nice and pretty, use your old balancer. I didn't want to, being that the old crank was not forged, and that rotating weight is different. Putting a wrong dampner on the new crank could risk throwing it off. Besides that, all sensors go in fine, motor mounts, etc. Remeber to keep your old oil filler adapter, the zz4 does not come with one.

I have been told that you need to do some trimming on the hood. Just the 84's. I just did this task a couple months ago..

woah... thats a little to indepth for me... i realy don't know a whole lot about this, thats why i am asking the forum... is it a huge task? is it like plug and play or do you have to do a lot of poopie to get it in?
