Clock/radio issues.
Every time I turn the car on, the clock displays a different time than the actual time. I reset the clock to the correct time but next time I start the car the time is screwed up again. Also when I press the scan button in auto. mode the radio will not scan unless I hold the button down real hard. Have the original Bose radio and when I shut it off it makes a popping noise....ouch. Thanks for help with this.

Hi. I'm not sure. What year of Vette you have? I'd check your CTSY/CLK fuse. One stay's hot to keep the clock at the right time 24 Hrs. a day It's. always HOT. The popping may be the Bose Amplifiers, since the CTSY/CLK fuse, provides current to them as well. I have an 86 Vette, so the factory manual explains alot, with diagrams, fuse locations etc. I'm new here so, I hope this helps.
