Boggle me this
long one here.
Bought car, intermittent die, then no start issue. No codes. Replaced coil, and opti (AdvanceAuto...shut up already I know...panicked) still no start. Got code for ICM. Replaced that still no start. Rechecked opti all seemed well. Trailered car to dealership they said were getting quad driver errors on PCM. Thougt BS in my head but went with it. Got salvage yard PCM car fired right up.
Fast forward.....
intermittent bucking/stumble, cleared up. shut if off, would not restart. Had no spark issue. switched coil and ICM out no joy. Tried to restart day later after sitting fired right up. Drove 40 miles ran like a top. then the bucking reappeared died while driving. Refired up. Scan tool says code 36. Checked connector to opti. looks good.
It is not popping like it is missing but bucking like the engine stalls then refires.
is this "normal" with opti issue?
