Had the same problem. Does it get worse the faster you go? Mine did and it turned out to be a bent wheel from the manufacture. Looked perfect untill I got it on a high speed balancer.
The vibration you are experiencing may be a by product of a variety of issues, among them are: out of balance wheel; seperating tread; bent rim; incorrect mounting; or out of round tires.
You mentioned that you just swapped the tires from one care to another. How long was that car sitting, you may have flat spots which may work themselves out.
How many miles were on those tires since last balance? If the tires had some excessive where, like burn-outs that will through the balance off.
So I guess all this is to say, look at the tires and rule out out of round, tread seperation and bent rim. Then just spend $10 and get them balanced.

Re: Vibration at 60mph. (devilfish)
Check tire balance and outer tie rods. I had a vibration and it was the outer tie rods. The tie rods where pretty bad. Then I rebalanced the tires in case the vibration moved any of the weights.
