My wife said the heat wasn't working the other day so I got around to checking it out today. I was expecting it to be the heat control valve but once I started checking I found the heat was blowing out on the pass side but no air was coming out the driver side. What could cause this problem? Thought I'd ask since a quick search found nothing. Thanks
The manual controller has cables that open and close the damper and diverter doors.
The electronic climate control has vacuum modulators and get controlled by the vacuum from the controller selector.
Check for good vacuum with engine on and confirm a vacuum hose has not come of the TPI inlet manifold, then check the various vacuum tubes to the heater vacuum modulators.
