Idle to high
Hi all, I am new to the forum. I have a 1990 Corvette, I had problem starting and running (rough and stalled) With the advice of all my garage mechanic friends I did the following. Changed the distirbtor (I put it in same as when removed) and coil, The symtom remained the same, then the fuel injectors(solved the starting rough idle). I order them from advanced discount auto parts. They said they were flow rated for my Veh.(BDW brand) It starts and runs fine now but... When it starts the idle goes up to 4000 rpm's and then drops down to 2000 rpm's and stays there at 2000 rpm's. I need an expert to advise me please. I am thinking the timing is a little advanced but am afraid of moving it (distr) after reading about the computer etc.
