winter projects?
1. Replace alternator [DONE!]
2. Pull engine to repair/replace wiring harness.
3. Possibly wire in a Megasquirt 3 ECU
4. Completely scrub/clean engine/engine bay while engine is out
5. Replace A/C.
6. Replace fuel injectors.
7. If money allows- stainless works (or comparable) LT headers.
8. Reinstall engine.
9. Fix brakes (if it is shot calipers, seriously consider getting some new wheels, and doing the C5 upgrade)
10. Replace shocks
11. Weather stripping
12. Possibly replace carpet (if not this winter, next)
I think that is about it.. will be a busy winter.
Repairs:
Replacing weatherstripping, carpet, brake fluid, trans fluid, speakers, headlight gears, and repairing wear on the seats.
Mods:
Short-shifter, updated stereo, and pcmforless tune.
Also plan to take her apart and get her spotless!

I had originally planned a 427 Dart-based motor, but after looking at everything the LS is a MUCH easier way to go and parts are actually cheaper. And tuning is much easier as well...
The cage being non-intrusive is #1...
And I'm exploring an option to install a Viper D44 into it instead of the stocker...some work needs to be done to make it happen, but I'll be sure it will have a smaller chance of breaking than the new stock D44 that is in it. Also looking at converting the shafts to CV joints instead of universals. I'll need new outer axles made anyway...the stock units can't hold up for long with 750+ HP going through them...gonna need something that is hardened a lot better than OEM units.
Also exploring the option of putting new ZR1 carbon/ceramic brakes on it. For sure it'll have something WAY better than stock...my plans are to do some Open Road Racing in it, as well as track days (at our brand new F1 circuit in Austin
) I need brakes to safely haul it back down to sub-warp speeds. It's not going to be ready for next year...unless I win the Lotto or our company gets bought out. I want to take some time and get it done the way I want it.
