I have Richmond synthetic and one 4oz bottle of the GM additive. Haven't put too many miles on it yet so I can't give a true evaluation yet.

Whats the big deal in drilling and tapping and installing your own drain plug. I did it a year ago, it took all of 10 minutes and is as safe as could be??

Yeah it is easy but, if you are afraid this si wha tto do.
Take haammer and a set punch or nail etc, and pick a spot lowest on the housing,
Drill the first hole with an undersized drill,
then drill with the finish drill for that tap size,
chamfer the hole if you have one of these or take a deburring tool and make a lead-in on the finish hole,
put some oil on the tap and make sure its perpindicular with your hole and start the tap and tap to the depth you want if it is a pipe tap or tap all the way thru for a straight thread.
Not a big deal!
