Im running the stage 3 USM HSR. Never had a mini but I will say it spins to my 5200 redline (rod limited 383) without an issue where the TPI intake wouldnt spin to 4700. I have been to 5500 once and it flashed there quicker than I realized causing me to get a rev limiter box.
my 383 with dart heads and a comp (small) cam made 408/435 to the tire spinning to 5200.

Anytime you ask for feedback -- of the comparison nature -- it's always advisable to list your combo. I recall your having an extra-large cam which normally would be best matched to the highest-spinning intake. In this case, the mini...which is also the only one that'll fit under a stock hood (without a scoop/cutting). WW7 stated this correctly.
There may still be a custom-made, hard-to-get, long-to-deliver USM version of the HSR available, but it's pricing is similar to the miniram (aka MR). And, used MR's are way easier to come by -- if you want to pursue that route.
You also need to take into account what you are going to use the car for. If it is predominately a street car, you might want to look into a super ram which has a huge flat torque curve. If you are going to spend much time at the races, the mini might be your answer. The super ram is no slouch. I've turned 10,36 with mine.

The Super Ram delivers a boat load of torque. Definitely a great choice for the street.

thanks to all. you guy's are great. ill keep u posted.
solid lift 235/240 dur 530 550 lift. the heads are dart iron 220 heads polished and ported
Is this lift with 1.5 rockers? With that duration, you could be over .600 lift. You have a pretty stout cam, more than I'm running on my 406. Try the mini.
MR or LT1 conversion intake is the best performance, for the track, with that setup. But if you drive it around on the street, it will have a flat spot at low rpms, below 2500 rpms.
What size is your engine?

I'm running a hydraulic roller 230 240 with .625 lift. Works great with the SuperRam. Actually, I just bought a miniram and I'll be trying a back to back comparison next month.

Cool! look forward to it. Too bad you cant through the HSR in the mix.
