converter lockup

Stick a paper clip between the ground and torque converter clutch pins..if it locks up the ecm is your problem, if it doesnt he tcc solenoid may be sticking in the tranny or your clutch may be shot.
You can also stick a multimeter in these 2 pins..it should show 12v while cruising (or 5v i cant remember, but it doesnt matter) and when you hit the necessary speed for lockup, different on different years, the voltage will drop to zero as the ecm grounds the circuit. If it doesnt drop your have an electrical or ecm problem.
Mine has been acting up lately and i know its not the electronics, my solenoid is probably sticking. If i pull over and run it back and forth though the gears it usually fixes it.
