Opti Spark Problem?
My '92 C4 LT1 has a problem. I was driving in the city and it just quit. I tried to start it, it would turn over, but not kick. After several hours, and it had cooled down it started with no issues. I have not had another oppportunity to drive it since. The car has 111,000 on the clock. Is this indicitative of an Opti Spark problem? No other issues prior to this. Any advidce would be appreciated. I don't want to go to the trouble of replacing the Opti Spark, if I don't have to. I do realize that its probably overdue. Thanks, in advance.

i have kinda the same problem it still runs but after it warms up its missing and i have very little power, i checked for spark on a couple of wires and found the two i tested had no spark, still trouble shooting i'll let you know what i find, check for spark and fuel pressure,

I would think the only way the Opti would have caused what you experienced would be if the optical sensor was failing. If that were the case, it should have set a Code 16. If it didn't, I'd look elsewhere for the fault.
