Is there a reliable chart that shows the stock weight of the 1995 vert?
I can't believe this weighs more then the hatchback as the top is only about 80 lbs.
and the under support bracket is 15lbs
MY WEIGHT 2940 (!)
Ya Mine is still minus carpet and padding spare tire and AC and other goodness ( top) +plus 75Lbs SC
After seeing this weight I am going to make it less.
The scale this was done on is accurate as well.

It always seems the verts of any car are heavier. There could be some other stiffening that causes more weight. Ya got me.

I don't know that I'd be concerned with what everyone other than I weigh. If I were weight conscious I'd scale the car as it is and weigh the additions or deletions I did from then on!
Curb weight is generally considered a "BASE" car full of fluids with 4 - 5 gal of fuel no occupants or luggage.
My car is 2850 with me in it , i'm about 160 lbs .. Car has a full cage and a 12bolt .. My car has the factory 95 door panels and dash , light weight carpet .. so the car look like it has the factory interior .

what is 'lightweight carpet' ???
Are you talking about carpet without the heavy, rubber 'mass backing'?
If so, whered you get it.
I wasnt aware that we could get carpet without the heavy rubber 'mass-backing' ?

Thanks. I never knew what was considered "base" when speaking off curb weight.
