I need to replace the fuel pump in my '95. Is there an upgrade available that doesnt require much modification?
Looks like a walbro could be modified to work.
near stock right now, but that may change. Just like to upgrade when I replace things.

Check with Racetronix. They sell fuel pump kits for C4s. The kits use Walbro pumps. The install is easy.
I agree with the Racetronix kit, they can be purchased at Lingenfelter. Lingenfelter Performance Engineering One thing to check on the Walboro pump! Mine was wired in reverse polarity, so I had to switch the wires on the wiring harness that came with the kit. Otherwise the pump runs in reverse and does not suck fuel in but blows air bubbles into the tank (I learned the hard way ) so might / WILL BE worth your time to hook it up and run 12 volts and ground to the wire harness with pump in a can of gasoline to make sure it is turning the correct direction for your application. This is easy with a C4 set-up. If it does not pump gas out, then just switch the positive and negative leads on your test to the 12 battery and if it pumps out then, just switch the wires in the harness where it plugs into the pump. (if it's working correct, it will spray gasoline everywhere! so use caution)
You can also throw out the "Pulsator" thing from GM, and replace it with the short piece of high quality fuel line supplied with the kit and the 2 stainless hose clamps (also supplied with the kit)

I had the same problem with polarity when I swapped just the pump. I think Walbro changed the wiring at some point. Just make sure you use the wiring supplied with the kit. But now that you have been informed you won't spend as long as I did trying to figure out what's wrong.
