Braided Steal Brake Lines
I am considering adding the steal lines to me '89 as I give the brakes a once over in the next weeks. I've been autocrossing and want as much brake as possible for the stock class. Are the places like Ecklers and Zip on target with their price of about $120 for a set of 4? What are the chances of picking up something like these locally at a NAPA? cost? Any other tips on these lines?

I would get the ones from VetteBrakes & Products, but as long as you get them teflon-lined there shouldnt be a problem.

I found the lines for about $95 at summit, so that sounds pretty good. What about pads and upgraded fuild? I have heard quite a bit of bad news about the Hawks pads, what others seem to have good results with stock calipers and rotors. Dust isn't my biggest worry.
