Default Help; Oil feed line question

Well my Callaway project runs, but leaks oil. I purchased some pre make oil lines from a local speed shop; I assumed premade meant bolt on.....but the leaks are coming from the oil fittings.

I assume this is not normal....should I have tightened the fitting before the banjo connection, seems to me it should not have play:

shouldn't leak. is it leaking from where the hose enters the fitting or from the banjo seals? premade is usually tight and ready to use in my experience, but I make my own generally so its been a while.

I have had old/bad gasket rings leak on banjo fittings and also make sure the banjo bolt and banjo housing are designed to work with each other and also that the banjo bolt is not bottoming out before it clenches the housing.
