I checked the vaccum lines and they look good i didnt feel any cracks. I keep getting error codes i think, i have them at home not at work, 32-33 which is MAF burn off circuit and some other MAF code. IF i replace the circuit instead of the MAF will it run better without actually buying a new MAF. Hope that helps it's hard to type and look over your shoulder at work.
Code 32 is EGR. I get that with code 33 and/or 34 sometimes.
My 87 gets code crazy on me at least twice a year. If it happens enough you tend to come up with a plan and here's mine... I'll disconnect the battery, unplug and clean the contacts of the MAF and the 2 relays. Plug 'em back in, connect the battery and look for codes. If I get the code 33 again the I disconnect the battery, unplug the MAF, replace the relays, the plug and reconnect the battery. It's like tricking the computer that all new sensors are being added.
I found out early in ownership about this finicky phenomenon when I messed up a new MAF by not replacing the relays with it. Or am I just crazy? :yesnod:
