Default aldl data list needed, 24x conversion, PIM module hack

Guys,I am working on making a serial data converter for a 24x lsx pcm conversion for the 92-96 years...

What I am looking for is the messages that the CCM sends to the PCM, and the PCMs responses.

Maybe the entire data list for both modules?

The CCM has to poll the health of the PCM.
The CCM uses data from the PCM such as fuel display, coolant temp, oil temp, and possibly more... I just dont know.

Does anyone have this data?

Thanks!

I can tell you what the CCM has for data with my scan tool next time I have my 93 running, in which will be in the next week or so.

Jonathan,

I've got a Snap-on Modis and can tell you what parameters are available, but that says nothing about the comms that are going back and forth. Did you get the email that I sent with all of the comms data? I'm currently working on ADX files to use with TunerPro RT. I should be able to scan ECM, CCM, ABS and SIR systems when I'm done. I can already do that with the Modis, but the laptop system should be more versatile. Also, the Dearborn Group Digital Protocol Adapter is here and I'm starting to play with it. Hopefully I should be able to sniff the busses pretty soon.

By the way, the Dearborn DPA has a GM serial # tag on it from Milford Proving Ground Instrumentation Engineering Division. I bought it from a surplus dealer. It's real deal hardware that GM used in development and testing. Assuming it's fully functional, it should be able to provide us with the data that we need. Let's take it back to the PM's.
