Rusty headers
My hooker long tubes are not looking very good after 3 years. Rust hasnt broken through yet but I dont think it will be to many years away. Is this normal? They are not chrome but maybe ceramic? or polished? What can I do?

I've gone through a couple sets of Hooker 2151s, both coated. Hooker makes them out of mild steel. Their coating only covers the outside of the tubes, nothing on the inside. If yours aren't rusted through yet, it may be possible to have them recoated. I've seen ads where ugly, rusted headers have been coated and look like new.

You can get them done here in MI by a local shop for 225$ .. they ceramic coat them inside out ..
