Default C4 head ID ... and advise needed

Blew one head gasket big time ... so the Questio is ... what heads do I have on this 84 C4 Std coupe 350- 5.7 auto / and cross fire inj
do they have the 202 valve size already ?
and are they better heads than
Old double 441 fuelie 327 heads from back in the day
Just happen to have a set ... 202's

my machinist says that the stock 84 vette heads are a much better design and stick with what I have .. flow is the best

The 84 came with 624 heads they do have 202 intake valves and they have big 76cc chambers and this year they have flat top pistons with a trough for the valve relief so they used a thin .015 head gasket

Do the 441s have bolt holes in the front if not your accessorys wont bolt up. Dont know if you have 624s or 882s. Geussing someone added the larger valves?

I do know that the 441 heads have a few extra holes that were drilled and tapped in .. the last owner claimed i was setup for a belt drive and would accommodate the heavy 84 accessory package on the 84 vette ..

will verify once the heads are pulled off my C4

how will i know if the heads are 624's or 882's
can I assume that the casting numbers will tell the tail
my machinist dude is claiming that they will be the 882's
is that a win if they are 882's and what is the difference between the 624's and the 882's

havent seen #s on the 624s bet they are super close.
Basic smog head small valve deal. And very crack prone, thin castings. 882 not much better

Casting # youll see when you pull the valve cover off look for a stamped PN look at the last 3 digits.

Default Im feeling Humpped ...

Shocking .. Im officially lost .. So .. would that be a yesser to convert to the older Fuelie 441's with some 202's and 64 cc
I feel assimilated at the moment .. hopefully things will sort themselves out ..

forgive my senior moments here
I will verify more stats when I can get these heads off
they will either go to the round file or I will go to the round file
somethings gotta go .. just not sure now

thanks for the reality check list .. Ill confer more
Lawrence from Montclair So Cal style

Yes and not
Heads will be a perf improvement esp the increase in CR but you are still stuck with the cr*p CFI intake
and wimpy L83 cam so you may not see any improvement.
Compare the CFI intake ports to a reg SBC port; notice a problem
