Radio Antenna

I am a new corvette owner and I have seen a few C4 around where I live that looks like they have no antenna or something. Any help any one?

It's either broken, doesn't work or the driver's just enjoying "the drive"!!

The power antenna only comes up when the radio is on, otherwise it's down inside the car. I've also been driving the past few weeks with the radio off so my antenna no where to be seen.

85 antenna

Do not need the antenna up for the radio stations I listen to, disconnected the power to the antenna. This prevents having to remember to turn off the radio before entering the garage with the 1985. Due to having two lifts with cars, I have adjusted the garage door so that it only goes up enough to not impact the fenders/hood of the 1970 and 1996 raised on the lifts.
