I am swapping base for sport seats in my 93. What do I need to do to get the seats to work. I have got the seats and console switches. My car originally came with base seats with power on the drivers side only.
You might think twice about your decision. I lived with sport seats in my '93 for 12 years, and have base seats in my '92. I prefer the base seats for comfort, and reliability.
The sport seats have inflatable bladders for lumbar support, and movable side bolsters. Both units tend to fail. The lumbar pump diaphragm usually ruptures, and the bladders tend to leak.
The bolster switches and wiring are not reliable.
If you are not satisfied with your base seats, make the switch.
The original seats are torn in the seams and shrunk on the edges. These sport seats are mint. Personally, I'm not into the sports, but they are in far better shape than mine. What I really would like to do is trade them for mint base seats, but this is my current situation.

I understand....... go with the sports...... fixing any problems that may occur is not difficult.
