ipod direct input

ipod direct input

Has anyone had one of these inputs wired directly to there cdm box. (C4 corvette) I would like to know how.

Do you have a schematic of your CDM box? Im sure I could direct you where to add it.. Sorry all my schematics are pre-1980

Well, radio joe have schematic but dont know how to load them when i click to insert image states please enter url? am i looking for left and right audio in and audio common?

It will be a little more difficult then that. You need to inject the audio signal from you ipod BEFORE the volume control. You will need to identify which IC controls the volume and insert in the input to that chip.. Its also possible that chip takes separate inputs for each source (tape/CD, Radio) so you may need to decide which one would be interrupted. With the schematic I could tell you which one/ best way to do it.

If you cant post it, email it to me at joesclassiccarradio@yahoo.com or atleast tell me the model number- Maybe I can find the schematic online.

sorry havent gotten back to this. i havent found the schematic yet online and got tied up tearing my motor down. I will see what i can find this week. If anyone has the schematic, I can post up the results for all after its figured out..

i dont like photobucket, its why alot of old pics on the net are replaced with red X's,. ever try to read a tutorial where there are just X's for pics.

i prefer to use tinypic.com , pictures stay there and its much simpler, no signup, no need for account just go there .. upload pic and get link code. quick and ez

without knowing the year and if it has cd changer hookups
your choices seem to be
wireless fm modulation
wired fm modulation
cassette adapter if you have a cassette deck
or this, probably what your all looking for.
