I believe there is a cold start injector on your car, maybe someone with more info can chime in on this. If you have a fsm you can look that up. You can also google the cold start injector for a little info on it.

87 Corvette will not idel under 135 degrees
Thsi is totally normal for your vehicle. Under 135 degrees your engine ECM is in open loop. It will enter closed loop when it reaches 145 degrees. The idel should start to level out. This is normal incold weather conditions more less in in hot weather. Open loop the ECM is using generic values to run engine. When it enters closed loop the ECM use learned values. Hope this helps!!
