fuel pump

I am going to put in an aeromotive 340 pump...do I need the wiring upgrade like the f body...mine is a 94 car

You only get full pump performance if you get good voltage at the pump
The reason why many use the Racetronics or similar setup with the much larger wire ( less Voltage drop )
supplying power direct from the Alt

Ok so I installed the pump. Then used an amp meter. Pos side pulls 13amps negative side pulls 5amps. So I was going to run a 10ga wire from alt to 40amp relay triggered of the original power wire. Since its only pulling 5amps on the negative side I was going to leave the ground wire size original..does this sound about right?
