My service engine light code is P1810 which is transmission 4-wheel drive low indicator short circuit to battery.....what does that mean? Had it read at auto zone and when I left there the light went out and then later in the day it came back on.....the car is running fine and just would like some help in understanding the code, fixing the problem, and how much it is and is it hard to repair? thanks so very much in advance folks Ray in bama :seeya

I havent seen a code like that and obviously your vette isnt a 4x4. If its running good its likely its not anything major. Some codes are out of range codes while others are sensor faiure codes. If it hasnt been on long it could go away. I would take it to a different shop for a "second opinion" before i did anything. Good luck :cheers:
It reads as a Transmission Fluid pressure valce position switch circuit.
Since you are saying the car seems to be running fine, The manual says look at the 20 pin connector on the ransmission and check for bent terminals etc...
There are a few other things you can looks for... as it lists 3 conditions that will se the code...
Are there other codes being thrown?
Is your transmission running hot?
Do you have to mve your shifter to start the engine i.ie like the neutral safety switch ?
