Strange rearend howling noise?

Strange rearend howling noise?
I have noticed at very low speeds that there is a noticeable howling noise coming from my rearend while turning. I am assuming that this could be the wheel bearings/hubs, etc. Any insight would be very much appreciated.

well, check the bearings. Jack car up and see if grabbing at top & bottom allows ANY wiggle of the wheel...if so, replace hub assy.
IF NOT< then I'd inspect u-joints and rear end for wear/damage. Drain and refill the rear end with the CORRECT grease AND the GM posi-additive...(GM limited slip additive)..some gear lube comes with this mixed in.

You need to replace the fluid.
Once the diff is drained...
Add LSD (double the dosage) then top off with lube.
Drive in circles, both left and right.
Drink some Boones Farm Strawberry wine and kick back..

I spewed like a broken hydrant
when those were the ingredients for a saturday night high school drunk-fest...then went back for more !
These days, if I want to get dizzy I just spin around in the office chair !
