Default Corvette C4 GLASS PRODUCTION "Date codes"

The final three years of C4 production don't follow the LOF format that is several decades old. It was modified once in 1958 I thought was still considered accurate. It seems that in 1994 the format was change again and I'm only confirming it through end of C4 production. The C5 glass was sourced to APTech so it's of no relevance. The following would only be considered correct for "production glass" and maybe NOT LOF glass in the replacement industry. The years are that of glass production and NOT MY of car. Glass codes generally are a couple months or more prior to build date.

The Months:

N/January,X/February,L/March,G/April,J/May,I/June,U/July,T/August,A/September,Y/October,C/November,V/December

The years:

N/1984, Y/1985, U/1986, L/1987, I/1988, C/1989, G/1990, J/1991, A/1992, Z/1993, X/1994, Y/1995, U/1996

The LOF "bug" is found right lower corner of the windshield second line from bottom. Month and year are separated generally by maybe 1" or so. On the door glasses they're side by side.

This is an LOF "bug" from a ZR-1. A standard C4 would NOT display the "KOOLOF". That was a specific glass only for ZR-1.

This glass is September/1990 from a 1991 ZR-1.
